OF COLJNCII. <br />Mayfield Village Civic Hall <br />1Vlonday, April 18, 8016 - 8:00 p.m. <br />The Council of Mayfield Village met in Regular Session on Monday, April 18, 2016 at <br />Mayfield Village Civic Hall. Council President Saponaro called the meeting to order at 8:00 <br />p.in. <br />ROLL CALL: Present: Mr. Jerorne, Mr. Marquardt, Mr. Marrie, Mrs. Mills, <br />Mr. Saponaro and Mr. Williains <br />Also Present: Mayor Bodnar, Mr. Wynne, Mr. Diemert, Chief Edelman, <br />Chief Carcioppolo, Mr. Metzung, Mr. Marrelli, <br />Mr. Cappello, Mr. Thomas, Ms. Wolgamuth, <br />Mr. Esborn and Mrs. Betsa <br />Absent: Dr. Parker <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. <br />OPEN PORTION <br />- For Public Comment (3-ininute limit imposed by Chair). <br />Rick Christian <br />510 SOM Center Road <br />In looking through the agenda, I see New Business, the first item, motion to refer application of <br />Georgian Medical Arts II, LLC to rezone property located at 730 SOM Center Road. Many years <br />ago, residents of the Village voted to rezone the Northwest Quadrant as completely residential. <br />People who owned the property took it to Court and the Court said, you are right, you can't zone <br />that residential. It's zoned layer cake. The first 300 feet is residential. The rest of it can be built <br />on. <br />For this committee to even think about this is appalling. This has been this way for years and to <br />start changing it, you either change it all, or change none of it. We have already gone through this <br />with the Library. The Library's parking lot is in residential property which was a farce and the <br />way the property was taken and- <br />Council President Saponaro stated, we are talking about Georgian Arts. We don't want to go <br />back- <br />Mr. Christian stated, I know, but it's all the saine.
