Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />Tuesday, January 22, 2013 <br />Page 2 <br />COMMENTS FROM MAYOR RINKER <br />Mayor Rinker asked for a formal reading of Resolution No. 2013-03. <br />Resolution No. 2013-03, "A Resolution thanking Mayfield Village Fire Chief <br />David R. Mohr for over 33 years of dedication and service and congratulating him <br />on his retirement." (Introduced by Mayor and Council as a Whole) <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mr. Marrie, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 2013-03. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />Mayor Rinker asked Chief Mohr to approach the Council table. Mayor Rinker read the <br />Resolution to Chief Mohr. Mayor Rinker presented an Outstanding Citizen Award as a token of <br />appreciation. Chief Mohr thanked Mayor and Council. <br />Motion to approve the selection for the Committees and other administrative <br />positions for 2013. <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Dr. Parker, made a motion to approve the selection for the Committees <br />and other administrative positions for 2013. . <br />Roll Call: AYES: All Motion Carried <br />NAYS: None Positions Approved <br />Mayor Rinker asked the committee members present to stand up and be administered their oaths <br />of office. . Mayor Rinker thanked the members for coming out in the weather to be at the <br />meeting. You are brave souls. I would be remiss if I did not say again, it really means a lot to us <br />in the community that you get involved. Communities don't work unless they work together in <br />collaboration that really involves all of us, whether elected officials or people who aze just <br />volunteeri.ng their time. One way or the other, that's how we get the work done. It's very much <br />appreciated. So, if you would stand and raise your right hand and sta.te your names and the <br />committees on which you serve. Mayor Rinker administered the oaths. You are brave souls for <br />coming out in this weather and for signing up for another year. God bless you.
