Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />Monday, April 16, 2012 <br />Page 7 <br />Society. The reason we go to these things, we try to figure out how we can generate more <br />people to come to our meetings and get educational meetings and see exactly what other people <br />are doing. Through these meetings it's very interesting that Mayfield is the only one that really <br />has a house like we have. Everybody else is in envy of us. It is really a jewel in our crown here. <br />When everybody always says, you people have it so easy, they don't know how many years we <br />have been working to make it easy. We really appreciate any help we can get from you. <br />Mayfield Village has been extremely generous with the Historical Society. I thank you. <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils - There was nothing to report. <br />M.A.R.C. - Dr. Parker reported, M.A.R.C. met on April 5th. It was a pretty routine meeting. We <br />approved the Minutes. The budget was reported at $15,134.48. They discussed various programs. <br />There was also some discussion regarding the new Superintendent of Mayfield City Schools. <br />There were 60 applicants. The Board of Education interviewed 5 finalists. The next meeting will <br />be held on May 3rd <br />Ordinance Review Committee - There was no meeting. "There is no report. <br />Planning and Zonin? - Mr. Marquardt reported, Planning and Zoning met on April 2°d. There <br />was one item on the agenda which was the new Library roadway. That issue did not pass. <br />Recreation Board - Mr. Marrie reported, our next meeting is this Wednesday. Just a couple of <br />the items are the Senior Program, the Easter Egg Hunt for the children, and evaluation of what <br />we should or shouldn't do again. We had approximately 60 or 70 children there. It was a good <br />crowd. Also, reporting on the Debbie Hudacko Scholarship, we have 18 applicants for that. They <br />will be boiled down to 8. They will be reviewed and interviewed by a couple of the Committee <br />members. We will also discuss the ampitheatre and the trails workshop and also the development <br />at Parkview Pool. <br />Commission on Agin? - Mrs. Mills reported the Commission on Aging met on March 27h. We <br />discussed the Annual Anniversary Party that is coming up on May 19`h. It starts at 1:00. The <br />next Commission meeting will be held on May 22nd at 11:00 a.m. in the back room of the <br />Community Room. <br />SPECIAL COMMITTEE REPORTS: - <br />Information & Technology - There was no meeting. There is no report. <br />Records Commission - Mrs. Mills reported, we had some new revision forms which are being <br />completed and distributed. Shred Day is May 19th from 9:00-12:00. Remember that HB 9 <br />Training session is May 25t'. <br />Communitv and Economic Develonment Committee -'There was no report.
