Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />Monday, May 21, 2012 <br />Page 5 <br />happen in October. There are openings for the AARP Safe Driving class which will be held on <br />June 6t' from 12:30-4:00 in the Community Room. <br />ARCHITECT - Ron Dinardo <br />Mr. Dinardo reported, the web information for the solar panel installation is complete. Jeff <br />Thomas was able to integrate it into the website. It is now available for residents and anyone else <br />who would like to get on the webpage and look at it. <br />The website is mayfieldvillage.com/services/policedepartment/solar-arrays. All of the <br />information is there for anyone who wants to see how that things are operating. In the last few <br />days, it has been operating in -full capacity. It's a great thing. Jeff mentioned to me that there's <br />been 30 views in the last several weeks. <br />PLANNING DEPARTMENT - Ted Esborn <br />Mr. Esborn reported, Preformed Line Products, most of you are aware that they are putting on an <br />expansion to their building. I am working with the Greater Cleveland Partnership in an <br />application that Preformed Line has in to get them a State tax credit. I have the details if anyone <br />is interested in seeing it. As an overview, it's a 25,000 square foot addition. It's roughly 25 new <br />jobs. Between us and the Greater Cleveland Partnership, we are very optimistic that they will be <br />able to secure the Sta.te tax credit. <br />ADMINISTRATION - Diane Wolgamuth <br />There was no report. <br />STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />Activities Committee - Mrs. Mills reported, our meeting was May 15t'. We discussed the <br />Pancake Breakfast. We had 652 people compared to 700 last year. They took 200 Polaroid <br />pictures of Mothers and their family which was really nice. We also had the planning and <br />updates for Cruise Night which is Saturday, June 9th. We also discussed the July 0 activities. A <br />reminder, it will be on Saturday, June 30th. The fireworks will be on that day. <br />Architectural Review Board - Mr. Marrelli reported, Architectural Review Board met last <br />Thursday on the 17 . We went over the sign program for the Deacon's Chrysler Plymouth <br />facility and approved the signage. We also approved a pool on Beech Hill for the Levac family. <br />Board of Apneals - Mr. Marrelli stated, there was no meeting. There is no report. <br />Cemetery - Mrs. Mills reported, I have been in contact with Legends Monument Company. He <br />is bringing the forms that have to be put in place before the monuments can be erected again. <br />Jean Britton and Carole Marrie have been working in the Cemetery along with Roger Remec. <br />Slow down and take a look. It's very very nice. They have been doing a very very good job. I <br />am very pleased with what's happening there.
