Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />Monday, May 21, 2012 <br />Page 7 <br />do with advertising for bids and the Mayor's spending limit which is Ordinance No. 2012-19 <br />which is up for First Reading. It was recommended for approval by the Ordinance Review <br />Committee. <br />Planning and Zoning = Mr. Marquardt reported, Planning and Zoning had a workshop on May <br />17 . The item up for discussion was a Conditional Use Permit for Best Buy Pools and Spas. <br />This organization is running outside of our zoning limits without a Conditional Use Pernut. <br />There's a number of factors that are in play here. We will take a look at it at the next meeting. <br />Recreation Board - Mr. Marrie reported, our meetings our over for the summer. We will not <br />have another meeting until September 19d'. <br />Commission on Aging - Mrs. Mills reported, our last meeting was on March 27th. We will be <br />having a meeting tomorrow at 11:00 in the back office of the Community Room. <br />SPECIAL COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />Information & Technologv - There was no meeting. There is no report. <br />Records Commission.- Mrs. Mills reported, we got a Green Award for Shred Day. We saved 7 <br />barrels of oil, 2,500 gallons of water, 63 trees and 11 cubic yards for the landfill. Last year when <br />we did it, we saved 17 trees and 3 cubic yards of landfill and 60 pounds of air, pollutants. This <br />was a very very good turnout. We had 200 boxes from residents. We also had 121 from the <br />Village for a total of 321 boxes recycled. It was a very very busy day. It worked out very well. <br />Cintas helped us a lot. It was a very good job. <br />Communitv and Economic Development Committee - There was no meeting. There was no <br />report. <br />Drainage and Infrastructure - Mrs. Cinco reported, we had a meeting tonight. We went over 5 <br />applications. Tom is going to be busy giving us some estimates; but we did do our point <br />evaluation system so that when costs come in we can determine within our budget what projects <br />we can attempt this suminer. <br />There was no Old Business to discuss. <br />. Motion to authorize expenditure in the amount of $3,293.29 to Cleveland Clinic for <br />prisoner hospital stay. <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to authorize expenditure in the amount of <br />$3,293.29 to Cleveland Clinic for prisoner hospital stay.
