Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />Monday, June 18, 2012 <br />Page 2 <br />COMMENTS FROM COUNCIL PRESIDENT BUCKHOLTZ <br />There were no comments. <br />DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS: <br />SERVICE - Douglas Metzuns <br />Mr. Metzung reported that while we have not located the leak at the swimming pool, we have <br />found where the water is going.. It goes into a sump pit in the pool. We have begun to recycle <br />and circulate that water. We are no longer loosing vast quantities of water. We are still leaking <br />but it is just going in a circle. <br />BUILDING = John Marrelli <br />Mr. Marrelli reported that the Library project is coming up out of the ground. The foundations <br />are underway. The High School is in high gear while the kids are on summer vacation. Both of <br />those projects will be ongoing. <br />ENGINEERING - Tom Canuello <br />There was no report. <br />LEGAL DEPARTMENT - Joe Diemert <br />There was no report. <br />FIRE - Chief Mohr <br />Chief Mohr reported that we have sold smoke detectors. <br />FINANCE - Ron Wvnne <br />Mr. Wynne reported that we received an RFP from Gates Mills. They are looking to potentially <br />outsource their dispatch pperations and their jail operation. I will be meeting this week with the <br />Police Chief to go over the specs of their request to see how it falls within the parameters of what <br />we have available and what we might need to do different and get up to speed with their request <br />so that we can start pulling information together. <br />POLICE - Chief Edelman <br />Chief Edelman has a couple of items on the agenda this evening. We will discuss them when we <br />get there.
