MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF COUNCIL
Mayfield Village Civic Hall
Monday, October 15, 2012 - 5:00 p.m.
The Council of Mayfield Village met in Regular Session on Monday, October 15, 2012 at
8:00 p.m. at Mayfield Village Civic Ha11. Council President Buckholtz called the meeting to
order.
ROLL CALL: Present: Mr. Buckholtz, Nlrs. Cinco, Mr. Marquardt,lVlrs. Mills,
Mr. Marrie, Dr. Parker (8:25) and Mr. Delguyd
Also Present: Mayor Rinker, Mr. Wynne, Mr. Diemert,
Chief Edelman, Mr. Marrelli, Mr. Metzung,
Lieutenant Girbino, Mr. Thomas, Mr. Dinardo, Mr. Esborn,
and Mrs. Betsa Absent: Mr. Cappello and Mrs. Wolgamuth

The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given.

5-minute limit imposed by Chair. Those who wish to speak must first state their name and address.
David Hoehnen
750 Robley Lane
I am extremely grateful for the Village's leaf pick-up service, but I do have a question. Why don't we
start it sooner than October 15'h9
Mr. Metzung replied, we wait until October 15'' to frankly get enough leaves to make it worth our
while to begin.
Mr. Hoehnen stated, I have been raking leaves for two weeks and watching them blow over into my
neighbor's yard. It's just frustrating. I've got 5 maple trees in my front yard, so you can imagine. I
can't imagine I'm the only person in the Village with that problem. Often I am forced to pick up the
leaves and take them in my backyard so they won't blow in my neighbor's yard and so I don't have
to rake them again. So, anyways, I appreciate it if you would just think about maybe starting at least a
week earlier, oka.y?
Mayor Rinker stated, and your back would appreciate it too, I am sure. Is this year any different
from any other year? I am curious, for the timing.
