Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council Monday, November 19, 2012 Page 18 • First Reading of Ordinance loTo. 2012-28, entitled, "An ordinance amending Section 139.04 of the Codified Ordinances of 1Vlayfield Village, Ohio relating to the disposition of property held by the Police Department and declaring an emergency." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marrie, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. ROLL CALL: AYES: All Motion Carried NAYS: None Rules Suspended Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Delguyd, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2012-28. Council President Buckholtz asked if there were any questions. Mrs. Mills stated, this ordinance and 2012-29 should be passed in order. that they are put in our codified ordinances. If we wait until third read in January, it would not be in the codified ordinances until December 2013. Council President Buckholtz asked, is there anything substantive that we need to know about this ordinance? Mr. Diemert replied, no. Just cleaning up the codified ordinances. Council President Buckholtz asked, any other questions? There were none. ROLL CALL: AYES: All Motion Carried NAYS: None Ordinance Enacted • First Reading of Ordinance No. 2012-29, entitled, "An emergency ordinance repealing in its entirety Codified Ordinance Section 171.04 of the Codified Ordinances of Mayfield Village, Ohio relating to the certification of registration fee and posting for lodgings in the Village." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Delguyd, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. ROLL CALL: AYES: All Motion Carried NAYS: None Rules Suspended Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Delguyd, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2012-29.
