MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />Mayfield Village Civic Hall <br />Tuesday, February 18, 2014 <br />The Council of Mayfield Village met in Regular Session on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 <br />at Mayfield Village Civic Hall. Council President Buckholtz called the meeting to order at 8:00 <br />p.m. <br />ROLL CALL: Present: Mr. Buckholtz, NIr. Marrie, Mr. Jerome, Mr. Marquardt, <br />Mrs. Mills and Mr. Delguyd <br />Also Present: Mr. Wynne, Ms. Calta, Chief Edelman, <br />Chief Carcioppolo, Mr. Marrelli, Mr. Metzung, <br />Mr. Dinardo, Mr. Cappello, Mr. Esborn, <br />Ms. Wolgamuth and Mrs. Betsa <br />Absent: Dr. Parker, Mayor Rinker and Mr. Thomas <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. <br />TTO?T <br />00400 <br />5-minute limit imposed by Chair. Those who wish to speak must first state their name and address. <br />REMARKS BY AL MUHLE <br />Mayfield Township Historical Society <br />Good evening again. This is about the 6h year I have been here in the month of February thanks to <br />you people. On behalf of all of the members of the Mayfield Township Historical Society, I would <br />like to say thank you very much again for your contributions to this organization. <br />I would like to tell you tonight what we did last year and what we are going to do this coming yeaz <br />with the money. Last year, two people came to me and said, you know, our visitations from the <br />schoolchildren are getting larger and larger. Last year we picked up Gesu School. They came and <br />paid us money so their children could see our archives. I happened to know one of the teachers that <br />we met through a consortium network, Chagrin Valley Museums. She wanted to bring the school <br />children here. In the lower level, it's kind of cool in the wintertime. A volunteer asked if there is any <br />way we could get heat into the building. I brought a plumber in that we use and with John Marrelli's <br />okay, we tapped on to a hot water line that was feeding the south side of the house, only three rooms, <br />and we brought that line down in to the basement, the lower level as we ca11 it, and in four of the five <br />rooms we have hot water heat down there. The temperature is 4 degrees less in the basement than it <br />is in the dining room upstairs. What we found out, this is on a11 the time, so we keep the temperature <br />at 58 degrees when the house is closed and we put it at 68 when it is opened. With the evenness of
