Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />Monday, May 19, 2014 <br />Page 5 <br />COMMENTS FROM MAYOR RINKER <br />Mayor Rinker reminded everyone that this Wednesday, Ron and I will be conducting the annual <br />update on Village finances in Reserve Hall. Be there or be square. <br />COMMENTS FROM COUNCIL PRESIDENT BUCKHOLTZ <br />Council President Buckholtz sta.ted, we need to replace Councilman Delguyd who is going to be <br />leaving us sadly. We will be advertising in the paper on May 22°d and May 29'. Resumes will <br />be accepted June 2"d through June 5t'. Interviews will be scheduled and conducted on June 9t' <br />and June 10th. Depending on the outcome at that point; we will be able to select a candidate and <br />fill the vacancy by our Regular Meeting on June 16d. All interested candidates can call for more <br />information. <br />DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS: <br />SERVICE - Douglas Metzung <br />Mr. Metzung reported, we have begun our mulch deliveries. Our tree plantings are coming to a <br />close for this Spring. We are wrapping up our Spring work. Things are happening pretty quickly. <br />BUILDING - John Marrelli <br />There was nothing to report. <br />ENGINEERING - Tom Cannello <br />There was nothing to report. <br />LEGAL DEPARTMENT - Joe Diemert <br />There was nothing to report. <br />FIRE - Chief Eugene Carcionnolo <br />Chief Carcioppolo reported, we conducted our smoke detector testing in the home at 6120 <br />Wilson Mills last Tuesday with Good Morning America filming all day. They will be editing that <br />and advising when they are going to air it. I will keep you all informed. <br />Mayor Rinker suggested, put it on the web. <br />FINANCE - Ron Wvnne <br />There was nothing to report.
