<br /> <br />MINUTES OF A PUBLIC HEARING OF COUNCIL <br />Mayfield Village <br />July 14, 2003 <br />The Council of Mayfield Village met in Special Session on Monday, July 14, 2003 at <br />8:00 p.m. in the Mayfield Village Senior Center/Community Room for a Public Hearing <br />regarding the tax budget. Council President Bill Buckholtz presided. <br />ROLL CALL: Present: Mr. Buckholtz, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Marquardt, Mr. Marne, <br />Mrs. Mills, Dr. Parker, and Mr. Riter <br />Absent: None <br />Also Present: Mayor Rinker, Mr. Brett, Mr. Cappello, Chief Dearden, <br />Mr. Diemert, Chief Mohr, Mr. Samac, Mr. Thomas and <br />Mrs. Roman <br />1 <br /> <br />PUBLIC BEARING REGARDING TAX BUDGET <br />Mr. Diemert read the title as follows: <br />Ordinance No. 2003-28. entitled; `An emergency ordinance adopting a tax budget for Mayfield <br />Village, Ohio for the tax year 2004. "Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked if Finance Director Brett had any comments. <br />Mr. Brett said the tax budget for this year looks as if we will have a solid year next year, <br />decrease the amount of millage and bond retirement fund thereby increasing the amount of <br />millage that would be coming into the General Fund and reflect some of the other sources of <br />funds that we are receiving in the Bond Retirement Fund. This is a preliminary budget that <br />allows the Village to set the rates at which the taxes will be levied for next year.
