8. Discussion of a motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount not to exceed $15,626 to Southeast Harley- <br />Davidson for the purchase of one (1) Harley-Davidson motorcycle for the Police Department. <br />Committee discussed and voted to: Recommend Approval Not Recommend Approval Defer Action/Discussion <br />9. Discussion of a motion to approve the Bid for Morton Salt for the 2003-2004 season. Morton Salt being the <br />low bidder at $29.81 per ton dumped. This is up from last year's $27.02. <br />Committee discussed and voted to: Recommend Approval Not Recommend Approval Defer Action/Discussion <br />10. Discussion of First Reading of Resolution No. 2003-08, entitled; "A Resolution accepting the amounts and rates <br />as determined by the Budget Commission and authorizing the necessary tax levies and certifying them to the <br />County Auditor." Discussion of First Reading of Ordinance No. 2003-41, entitled; "An Emergency Ordinance enacted by the <br />Village of Mayfield, Cuyahoga County, Ohio hereinafter referred to as Mayfield Village, in the matter of the <br />hereinafter described improvement and requests the cooperation of Cuyahoga County of Cuyahoga by its Board <br />of County Commissioners, hereinafter referred to as Cuyahoga County the need for and proposes the improvement <br />of a portion of public highway which is described as follows: The resurfacing of Wilson Mills Road (CR-73) from <br />S.O.M. Center Road to the Mayfield ECL."
