Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />Monday, March 16, 2015 <br />Page 5 <br />Safetv and Service -.Mr. Marrie reported, Safety and Service inet on March 2nd. Every item on <br />the agenda was passed by Safety and Service onto Finance and is on the agenda for a vote <br />tonight. There was a discussion by both Chiefs concerning the resolution we will be covering <br />tonight, 2015-06 on dispatch. <br />Finance Committee - Mr. Saponaro reported, we met on March 2nd for our Caucus and this <br />evening for our regular Council Committee meeting. There were 23 agenda items. All were <br />recommended for approval. We will discuss them more as we break them out. <br />Historical Society - Mrs. Mills thanked A1 for being such a good understanding President. He <br />has a lot to contend with with his ladies. He calls us "Al's Gals". <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils - Mr. Jerome stated, there was no meeting. There is no report. <br />Mrs. Mills added, they are supposedly tryiilg to get Armond Budish to commit to a meeting. <br />Once we get that, the meeting will be posted. <br />Ordinance Review Comxnittee - Mr. Marquardt stated, there was no meeting. There is no <br />report. <br />Planning and Zoning - Mr. Marquardt reported, Planning and Zoning had a workshop on <br />February 19t'. We will have another one this Thursday. <br />Recreation Board - Mr. Marrie reported, Recreation Board will be meeting on the 18t' to plan <br />for the Easter Party for the children which is the 2lst from 1:30-3:00 at the Community Room. <br />We will also cover the Parkview Pool updates. The Spring/Summer recreation brochure will be <br />discussed. The Debbie Hudacko Scholarship interviews will be discussed and finalized. The <br />Board will also discuss possible shelter rentals. <br />Commission on Aging - Mrs. Mills reported, the next meeting will be Thursday, March 26th at <br />11:00 at the Senior Services office. The agenda will include the recap of the January trip, <br />discussion of the 2015 trips, Lunch N Learn programs and the May Aiuiiversary Party. <br />SPECIAI. COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />Information & Technolopy - Council President Buckholtz reported, the Committee did not <br />have a formal meeting, but I spoke with Jeff Thomas about the web. We will save that report in a <br />couple of minutes. <br />Records Cominission - Mrs. Mills reported, there were a few public records requests which <br />were satisfied. HB9 Training will be held on May 22°d in Reserve Hall. We are preparing for <br />Shred Day on May 16th from 9:00-12:00. <br />Community and Economic Develonment - Mr. Saponaro stated, there was no meeting. There is <br />no report.
