Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />Monday, April 20, 2015 <br />Page 2 <br />DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS: <br />SERVICE - Doug Metzung <br />There was no report. <br />BUILDING - John Marrelli <br />There was no report. <br />ENGINEERING - Tom Canpello <br />There was no report. <br />LEGAL DEPARTMENT - Mr. Diemert <br />There was no report. <br />FIRE - Chief Eugene Carcioppolo <br />Chief Carcioppolo reported, we just received a portion of our AFG Grant Self-Contained <br />Breathing Apparatus that we received off of the Assistance to Firefighters' Grant last year. It is <br />not complete. We are still waiting on two rapid intervention crew packs. <br />FINANCE - Ron Wvnne <br />Mr. Wynne reported, we have a tenant interested in the property on Highland Road. Pending the <br />results of the background check, we will have a draft of the Lease Agreement for Council to look <br />at next month. They are looking at occupancy on June lst <br />POLICE - Chief Richard Edelman <br />There was no report. <br />PARKS & RECREATION - Bill Thomas <br />Mr. Thomas reported, we are gearing up for suminer and getting the pool ready. We are working <br />on the special events, soccer and softball. Depending on good weather we will hopefully get to <br />those and work on them. <br />With regard to our Senior program, the Anniversary Party for Village seniors ages 60 and over is <br />Friday, May 1 St from 12:00-3:00. Residents should contact Donna to make reservations. The <br />next Lunch N Movie is May 13'?'. The movie is The Theory of EveYything. Reservations are due <br />by May 6t". Foot clinics will be held on May 8h and May 22"d from 1-3. The cost is $20.00. Call <br />Donna to make an appointment. There are still openings for the trip to Tour of the State House
