Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />Monday, May 18, 2015 <br />Page 11 <br />. Motion to authorize expenditure in the amount of $11,387 to nZarshall Power <br />Equipment for the purchase of a 72" Exmark riding mower. .(State contract <br />pricing). <br />Mr. Saponaro, seconded by Mr. Marrie, made a motion to authorize expenditure in the amount of <br />$11,387 to Marshall Power Equipinent for the purchase of a 72" Exmark riding mower. (State <br />contract pricing). <br />Council President Buckholtz asked if there were any questions. <br />Mr. Jerome asked, this is to replace the one we have or are we going to keep the old one? <br />Mr. Metzung replied, we will keep the old one. It is a 2004 unit. <br />Mr. Jerome asked, is this one bigger, same size? <br />Mr. Metzung replied, it's a foot wider. We have a 60 inch. This is a 72. We want to keep the old <br />one because we mow a lot of areas that are a little more rugged. You don't want to be taking a <br />new mower there. Council President Buckholtz asked, any other questions? There were none. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All Motion Carried <br />NAYS: None Expenditure Approved <br />Motion to acknowledge receipt of financial reports for Apri12015 and to -approve of <br />same as submitted. <br />Mr. Saponaro, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to acknowledge receipt of financial <br />reports for April 2015 and to approve of same as submitted. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked, any cominents or questions? <br />Mr. Wynne stated, we are through what I consider to be the peak tax collection period with <br />corporate bonuses and profits. Through the end of April, we are $228,000 ahead of last year's <br />and $165,000 ahead of the year before that. The year before that was our best year ever. Things <br />are trending and looking well for this year. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked, any other questions? There were none. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All Motion Carried <br />NAYS: None Receipt of Financial Reports <br />Acknowledged and Approved
