Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />Monday, June 15, 2015 <br />Page 11 <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />1Vfotion to authorize expenditure in the amount of $11,187.30 to Deere & Co. foi• <br />purchase of John I)eere Gator (State purchasing). <br />Mr. Saponaro, seconded by Mrs. Mills, inade a motion to authorize expenditure in the ainount of <br />$11,187.30 to Deere & Co. for purchase of John Deere Gator (State purchasing). <br />Acting Council President Marquardt asked, any discussion? There was none. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All Motion Carried <br />NAYS: None Expenditure Approved <br />Motion to authorize purchase of 1,200 tons of salt through the ODOT summer salt <br />program from Morton Salt at $80.06 a ton. <br /> <br />Mr. Saponaro, seconded by Dr. Parker, made a motion to authorize purchase of 1,200 tons of salt <br />through the ODOT summer salt program from Morton Salt at $80.06 a ton. <br />Acting Council President Marquardt asked, any discussion? <br />Mr. Saponaro thanked Doug for getting the information to us on the chart. That really set forth <br />all the communities and counties so that we can see the pricing throughout the whole State since <br />there was such a big increase and understanding where the process is with that. <br />Mr. Jerome stated, a lot of people stepped up to.Armond Budish and said, we need to work on <br />getting better prices for salt or figure out if someone has a shortage, you can go through the <br />County. They have their own salt for their facilities. A lot of the communities hoped the County <br />can help in the future. California has their water problems. We have our snow and ice problems. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Approved <br />Motion to authorize expenditure in the amount of $7,850 to Jennison Ice for <br />purchase of ice machine at the Fire Station. <br /> <br />Mr. Saponaro, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to authorize expenditure in the amount of <br />$7,850 to Jennison Ice for purchase of ice machine at the Fire Station. <br />Acting Council President Marquardt asked, any discussion? <br />Mr. Saponaro stated, the ice machine we are talking about is not for beverages. For the purpose <br />of discussion, can we put what it is used for in the Minutes?
