There was none. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All Motion Carried <br />NAYS: None Expenditure Approved <br />Motion to authorize the deposit of $85,000 into an escrow account to reimburse <br />ODOT for any contingency quantities expended for the SOIVI Center Road <br />Resurfacing South Corporation Line to Wilson Mills Road Intersection. <br />Mr. Saponaro, seconded by Mrs. Mills made a motion to authorize the deposit of $85,000 into an <br />escrow account to reimburse ODOT for any contingency quantities expended for the SOM <br />Center Road Resurfacing South Corporation Line to Wilson Mills Road Intersection. <br />Council President Marrie asked, any discussion? <br />Mr. Wynne asked Mr. Cappello, is ODOT going to provide us with an escrow agreement or <br />instructions on how they want this set up? <br />Mr. Cappello replied, yes. When the time comes, you will have to deposit the money. Again, it <br />will only be for quantities used. I am not sure if it is before they bid or after. It sounded like <br />before they go out to bid, they want to do it. If the bid items come in less, you obviously get a , <br />credit back. If it comes in more, we will have to deposit more. <br />Mr. Wynne asked, when does this $85,000 have to be deposited? <br />Mr. Cappello replied, I think we can pass this tonight and it will be most likely before they sign <br />the contract. <br />Mr. Wynne asked, so all they care about now is that Council approves? <br />Mr. Cappello replied, yes. <br />Mayor Rinker asked, when is the start date? <br />Mr. Cappello replied, some time next year. They have not bid the job yet. <br />Mayor Rinker asked, so we don't know when to put the money into escrow? <br />Mr. Cappello replied, correct. <br />Mr. Jerome asked, how is that going to work? They are going to be limited to what they are <br />going to want to do extra? <br />Mr. Cappello replied, how it works is that ODOT's agreement is curb to curb, only the surface. <br />They consider it purely as a maintenance job. They go in and grind it. If there's any bad <br />sections, they will do a partial repair, but according to their policy, they do not go into major in- <br />
