Regular Counci] Meeting Minutes <br />5-17-10 <br />Page 6 <br />Planning and Zoning - There was no meeting. There is no report. <br />Recreation Board - Mr. Marrie reported that the next Board meeting won't be until September <br />15t , but during the summer break the Board will be busy volunteering for Cruise Night, Fourth <br />of July, the Debbie Hudacko Memorial Run and the Summer Sizzler Swim Meet. <br />SPECIAL COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />Planning Develonment Committee - There was nothing to report. <br />Information & Technologv - There was nothing to report. <br />Records Commission - Mrs. Mills reported that the Commission met on May 12t'. At that time <br />we had a presentation from the company that will be doing the shredding on June 5t'. Mark your <br />calendars for Shred Day on Saturday, June 5t' from 9:00-12:00. They will be here for anything <br />you need shredded. The presentation related to off-site storage. Diane Calta was going to look <br />at their contracts to see what it was all about before we get into this. We will have to interview <br />more people for that. Our next meeting will be June 9th to discuss Shred Day. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />OPEN PORTION - 3 minute limit imposed by Chair. Those who wish to speak must first state <br />their name and address. <br />There were no comments. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Motion to authorize expenditure in the amount of $2,925.00 to Shannon Electric for <br />fire protection equipment in the Civic Center Auditorium. <br />Mr. Saponaro, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to authorize expenditure in the amount of <br />$2,925.00 to Shannon Electric for fire protection equipment in the Civic Center Auditorium. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />Motion to authorize expenditure in the amount of $28,600.00 to Zenith Systems <br />LLC for voice and data work for new police facility. <br /> <br /> <br />Mr. Saponaro, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to authorize expenditure in the amount of <br />$28,600.00 to Zenith Systems LLC for voice and data work for new police facility.
