Regular Counci] Meeting Minutes 5-17-10 Page 6 Planning and Zoning - There was no meeting. There is no report. Recreation Board - Mr. Marrie reported that the next Board meeting won't be until September 15t , but during the summer break the Board will be busy volunteering for Cruise Night, Fourth of July, the Debbie Hudacko Memorial Run and the Summer Sizzler Swim Meet. SPECIAL COMMITTEE REPORTS: Planning Develonment Committee - There was nothing to report. Information & Technologv - There was nothing to report. Records Commission - Mrs. Mills reported that the Commission met on May 12t'. At that time we had a presentation from the company that will be doing the shredding on June 5t'. Mark your calendars for Shred Day on Saturday, June 5t' from 9:00-12:00. They will be here for anything you need shredded. The presentation related to off-site storage. Diane Calta was going to look at their contracts to see what it was all about before we get into this. We will have to interview more people for that. Our next meeting will be June 9th to discuss Shred Day. OLD BUSINESS OPEN PORTION - 3 minute limit imposed by Chair. Those who wish to speak must first state their name and address. There were no comments. NEW BUSINESS Motion to authorize expenditure in the amount of $2,925.00 to Shannon Electric for fire protection equipment in the Civic Center Auditorium. Mr. Saponaro, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to authorize expenditure in the amount of $2,925.00 to Shannon Electric for fire protection equipment in the Civic Center Auditorium. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Expenditure Authorized Motion to authorize expenditure in the amount of $28,600.00 to Zenith Systems LLC for voice and data work for new police facility.
