Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council
Monday, May 16, 2011
Page 13
discussed the accessory use, Codified Ordinance 1157.06. We are still in discussion on that. We
also discussed temporary advertising signs and we are looking at ways to adjust or clean up our
ordinance as well as the sign ordinance amendments for Section 1185.10 and 1185.14. Those
deal specifically with the political sign ordinances. We are looking at a lot of the different
ordinances right now. The Law Department is providing us further information on that as well.
Planning and Zonin? - There was no meeting. There is no report.
Recreation Board - Mr. Marrie reported that the Recreation Board won't meet until September
21S` but the members of the Board will be busy volunteering for the suinmer, Cruise Night, the
Debbie Hudacko run, the bike ride and scavenger hunt which is new this year, along with the
Summer Sizzler Swim Meet, plus other projects that are going on in the Village in the area of
recreation.
SPECIAL COMMITTEE REPORTS:
Information & Technology - There was no meeting. There is no report.
Records Commission - Mrs. Mills reported that we had Shred Day on Saturday. The Village
shred 19 boxes. Residents brought us 350 boxes for a total of 369 boxes. They recycled 2.25 tons
which is up because last October we only did 1.75 tons. It's been a good project. It was busy
most of the morning. They worked until Noon. It worked out very well. The residents are
fascinated. They have to watch their papers be shred. It's interesting.
OLD BUSINESS
Third Reading of Ordinance No. 2011-06, entitled, "An emergency ordinance
authorizing and directing the Mayor to enter into an amendment to Appendix B to the
Billing Services Agreement with Life Force Management, Inc."
