Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />Monday, July 18, 2011 <br />Page 9 <br />Planning and Zoning - There was no meeting. There is no report. <br />Recreation Board - Mr. Marrie reported that there was no meeting other than what Bill gave <br />under his department report. Just to comment that the admissions for the pool are down quite a <br />bit mostly because of the cold and rainy June that we had. <br />SPECIAL COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />Information & Technology - There was no meeting. There is no report. <br />Records Commission - Mrs. Mills reported that the Commission will meet on July 201h at <br />12:30. <br />Communitv and Economic Develonment - Mr. Saponaro reported that the Committee met on <br />July St and 11 . We are going through with approving the Minutes for those meetings right now <br />and they will be forthcoming. We did have a discussion regarding the Town Center, specifically <br />Beta Drive. You should be getting the Minutes in your packets next week some time. Our next <br />meeting is on August 2°a <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Second Reading of Ordinance No. 2011-28, entitled, "An ordinance revising the zone <br />map of Mayfield Village so as to amend the use classification of 1.28 acres of land <br />located on the south side of Wilson Mills Road east of SOM Center Road and known as <br />Permanent Parcel Numbers 831-39-010 and 831-39-011 from its current classification of <br />U-1 residential district to local business." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a <br />Whole. (First Reading - June 20, 2011; Second Reading - July 5, 2011) <br />This will stay on Second Reading until after the Public Hearing on August 8t' at 7:00 p.m. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Motion to approve the Photoelectric Smoke Alarm Purchase Program for Mayfield <br />Village residents. , <br />Mr. Saponaro, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to approve the Photoelectric Smoke <br />Alarm Purchase Program for Mayfield Village residents. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked for a description of the program. <br />Mr. Saponaro stated, particularly this is a,program introduced through Lieutenant Girbino and <br />the Fire Department. Specifically what they are doing is they are going to buy these photoelectric
