Regular Council Minutes September 20, 2010 Page 5 Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to pass Resolution No. 2010-10. ROLL CALL: AYES: All Motion Carried NAYS: None Resolution Adopted Council President Buckholtz asked Mayor Rinker if he has additional comments at this time. Mayor Rinker replied, he will reserve them at the time that Council considers the Library issue which is of course important tonight. COMMENTS FROM COUNCIL PRESIDENT BUCKHOLTZ: There were no comments. DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS: SERVICE - Douglas Metzung Mr. Metzung reported that we have concluded this yeaz's road program, the rejuvenation of the neighborhood streets and the chip sealing in the Worton Park area. We are very satisfied with the work that has been done. Thank you Council for allowing us to go forwazd with this program this year. Council President Buckholtz stated, we have had many wonderful comments. Thank you. BIJILDING - John Marrelli Mr. Marrelli provided an update on 6780 Seneca house issue. We received a temporary injunction last week. CRC, LLC has agreed to a six-rnonth time limit to bring the house into full compliance. They plan on selling it. In the event that they fail to meet the six-month time limit, we will go for a. full injunction and then move into a nuisance abatement action which I don't think we are going to have to do. The house is being worked on as we speak. ENGINEERING - Tom Capnello Mr. Cappello provided an update on the Wilson Mills Road culvert. As you can see, they have moved to the south side and they have demo'd that portion of the bridge and are getting ready to install the culvert hopefully this week. By September 30`h we should have traffic restored. LEGAL DEPARTMENT - Mr. Diemert Mra Diemert will answer some of the questions that were raised in the public comment concerning the property that the Village is exchanging for Library construction purposes.
