Regular Council Meeting Minutes <br />10-18-10 <br />Page 2 <br />COMMENTS FROM COUNCIL PRESIDENT BUCKHOLTZ: <br />There were no comments. <br />DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS: <br />SERVICE - Douglas Metzunt! <br />There was no report. <br />BUILDING - John,Marrelli <br />There was no report. <br />ENGINEERING - Tom Canpello <br />There was no report. <br />LEGAL DEPARTMENT - Mr. Diemert <br />There was no reporte <br />FIRE - Chief Mohr <br />There was no report. <br />FINANCE - Ron Wvnne <br />There was no report. <br />POLICE - Lieutenant Edelman <br />Lieutenant Edelman stated that we have establislied Saturday November 13th as the Grand <br />Opening of the Police Station. ' Mrs. Mills asked, what time? Lieutenant Edelman replied, from <br />Noon to 4:00. Mayor Rinker stated, my understanding is that that is an opening but you are <br />probably not going to be moving in on that date. Lieutenant Edelman confirmed. Mrs. Mills <br />asked, is that for the general public? Lieutenant Edelman replied, yes. Mayor Rinker stated, we <br />thought an open house would be good. People will get to see what the layout is. Dr. Parker <br />asked, will that be like a ribbon-cutting ceremony? Mayor Rinker replied, something like that. <br />We haven't worked out the details. We've really been kind of waiting to see while the punchlist <br />stuff is going on. Lieutenant Edelman stated, it's 98% complete. We are still waiting for the <br />phone system. Mayor Rinker stated, make it celebratory and have some docents and lead people <br />around. <br /> <br /> <br />
