Council Meeting - 7/18/05 <br />Page 23 <br /> <br />Mrs. Mi11s made a motion, seconded by Mr. Marrie to enact Ordinance No. 2005-35. <br />Roll Call: AYES: -All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted <br />1 <br /> <br />Mr. Buckholtz stated that this concludes the Charter ordinances and he wants to thank the work <br />the Charter Review Commission did on this. <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 2005-36, entitled; "An ordinance to provide for the <br />issuance and sale of $4,000,000 of notes of Mayfield Village, Ohio, in anticipation of the <br />issuance of bonds for the purpose of acquiring certain real estate together with the existing <br />buildings and other structures located thereon and any related equipment and certain other <br />real estate for recreational purposes and improving the parks and recreational system of the <br />Village by acquiring certain real estate, constructing and lighting ball fields, together with <br />the necessary appurtenances thereto, and otherwise improving that system, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Mrs. Mills made a motion, seconded by Mr. Marquardt to suspend the rules of Council <br />requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Buckholtz wished to restate that this is reducing the debt by $ 500,000. <br />Mr. Brett said yes. <br />Mrs. Mill made a motion, seconded by Mr. Marquardt to enact Ordinance No. 2005-36. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 2005-37, entitled; "An emergency ordinance amending <br />ordinance 2004-08 pertaining to the wages, benefits, and other terms and conditions of <br />employment for employees of Mayfield Village, Ohio, for the calendar years 2003-2005, <br />repealing all ordinances inconsistent herewith (In title only). Introduced by Mayor Rinker <br />and Council as a Whole. <br />Mrs. Mills made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an ordinance to be read on <br />three separate occasions. <br />Mayor Rinker stated he wants to first address this in Executive Session. <br />
