Regular Council Meeting <br />12/19/05 <br />Page 21 <br /> <br />1 <br />Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion. There were no comments. <br />ROLL CALL:AYES: All <br />NAYS : None <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />First Reading of Resolution No. 2005-27, entitled "An emergency resolution supporting <br />sewer district consolidation." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Saponaro, seconded by Mr. Marrie, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 2005-27. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion. Mr. Brett pointed out that there <br />are service charges referenced but it is a resolution in support. We are introducing the idea <br />discussed before creating a bumper in between the actual rate and collected rate with an eye <br />toward creating the source for capital improvements down the line. <br />ROLL CALL:AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br />Council did not go in to Executive Session as there were no items to discuss. <br />ANY OTHER ITEMS BEFORE COUNCIL <br />There were no other items before Council. <br />CLOSYNG COMMENTS <br />Mr. Thomas indicated that he had the pleasure of hearing a band he was very <br />impressed with on Friday night, Wild Horses. <br />Mr. Cappello reported with regard to Wilson Mills Road. The County's construction <br />engineer indicated that they plan on being open. Chief Dearden informed him today that <br />Gates Mills called them and said that they are under the impression that they will not be <br />opening. Mr. Cappello will make a call tomorrow to find out. <br />Mr. Marquardt asked when we will be replacing street signs. Mr. Metzung indicated <br />that it has not yet been reported, but we have new gateway signs and they will be going up as <br />soon as weather permits. The poles will be painted white or green. The gateway signs will <br />go up. Seeing how that looks, we will try to incorporate new street name signs to go with that <br />motif. Mr. Marquardt asked what gateway signs were.
