A delicious lunch was
served, and music and entertainment were the order of the day.
Attractive favors were provided by Patsy Mills, and visits by Mayor
Rinker and Santa were definitely highlights of the afternoon. Everyone
in attendance received a doorprize.
The Card Group has continued to meet despite the cold and nasty
weather with participants looking for an afternoon out. The group will
have a New Year's lunch December 27. A group of 12 ladies who play
duplicate bridge will be joining our group once a month. Some. of them
will also attend at other times.
Transportation continues to be a problem for more and more of our
seniors, and these individuals are looking to the Village for help with
getting to doctors` appointments and other destinations.
Respectfully submitted,
unice G. Kalina,
Director of Human Services
