MINUTES OF A COUNCIL CAUCUS <br />December 5, 2005 <br />8:00 p.m. <br />Mayfield Village Civic Hall <br />The Council of Mayfield Village met in Caucus Session on Monday, December 5, 2005 in the <br />Mayfield Village Civic Hall. Council President Bill Buckholtz presided. <br />Present: Mr. Buckholtz, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Marquardt, Mr. Marrie, <br />Mrs. Mills and Mr. Saponaro <br />Absent: Dr. Parker <br />Also Present: Mayor Rinker, Mr. Brett, Mr. Marrelli, Mr. Diemert, Mr. Cappello, <br />Chief Dearden, Mr. Thomas, Lieutenant Shrefler, Mr. Metzung and <br />Mrs. Betsa <br />~, -~ .mot <br />v4Lb~'~- ~ Mr. Buckholtz asked if anyone had any status reports. <br />~. ~ ~ <br />.~'~' <br />Mrs. Cinco reported that Safety & Service just met. You will be getting the senior snow <br />~~h' ~ `~i~~ removal update tonight. Mobiletech Panasonic Tough book MDT Unit for $4,800.00 for the <br />police deparhnent is the replacement of one of their laptops in the car which is four years old. <br />Pieces and parts of the other laptops are being repaired right now. This is the first of what may <br />come down the line. That needs to go to finance. The need for ordinance to comply with the <br />new state fire code has been passed on to the law department and should be ready for Council. <br />The Wilson Mills Road Culvert #9 replacement, according to Doug, Tom requested that it be put <br />back on 50/50 funding with the County for 2007. Mr. Cappello indicated that he spoke with <br />County Deputy Engineer Stan Kozleski today who stated that based on what they know today, <br />-°~ 2007-2008 maybe their planning year and that they would be willing to investigate or entertain <br />the Village and the County doing Joint Issue II application which is positive. Clarification was <br />requested with regard to the money available in 2007 application of 2006 or application of 2007 <br />or 2008 for 2009. Mr. Cappello responded that it was 2007 for money available in 2008. <br />Mr. Buckholtz asked the Wage Ordinance Committee if they are going to try to get a <br />meeting in December. Mrs. Cinco indicated that they had a quick discussion on that. Mrs. Mills <br />indicated that a meeting will be set shortly following conferring with Phil. Retention of an <br />outside source as a guide to frame the evaluation to be helpful was discussed. <br />Mr. Saponaro reported that revised Minutes of the Citizen's Advisory Committee were <br />distributed to Council and everyone else received them in their mailbox.
