Special Council Minutes <br />5/9/OS <br />Page 17 <br /> <br /> <br />, <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marrie, made a motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount of <br />$2,434 to Best Truck Equipment, Inc. for the Service Department. <br />Mr. Metzung said this is to outfit 2 trucks with bed-liners.and flashing lights and things of that <br />nature; this for 2 trucks. <br />Mrs. Cinco said we discussed it at Safety & Service realizing that it had come to us as Finance also <br />and is on the agenda tonight because Doug is in need of this equipment to get the trucks ready so we <br />did recommended passing this. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />Council President Buckholtz said we need another motion to amend the agenda for our participation <br />in the Metroparks- <br />Mr. Brett said that is for the Milstein property. We agreed in principle last year. For the application, I <br />want record to show that Council was aware that the grant was received and that we are proceeding <br />forward with the $50,000 donation to the overall effort. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked, do we need to approve that? <br />Mr. Brett said technically no. When you approved the application you approved the Mayor and the <br />Finance Director to enter into the agreement but again, I just want this for auditing purposes. <br />0 And any other matter before Council <br />Mrs. Cinco said I don't know if you saw this but Chief Dearden had requested authorization to go <br />out for bids. <br />Chief Dearden said that is for the Caucus. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked, does anybody have any further items for this special <br />meeting? <br />There were no items. <br />• EXECUTIVE SESSION for purposes of Real Estate and litigation <br />Council President Buckholtz addressed Mr. Diemert and asked, do we have to undo anything to <br />not go into Executive Session? <br />Mr. Diemert replied, no; not at all.
