We usually get more for the Harley <br />than we paid for it. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Authorization to Advertise <br />First Reading of Resolution No. 2005-11, entitled; "A Resolution opposing the proposed job cuts <br />at NASA and DSAS and declaring an emergency." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council <br />as a Whole. <br />Mr. Diemert said DSAS stands for the Cleveland Defense, Finance and Accounting <br />Service. <br />Mr. Marrie, seconded by Dr. Parker, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 2005-11. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion. <br />Council President Buckholtz said I talked to NYr. Diemert about this and as we stated <br />earlier, many of our surrounding communities have passed something about NASA and we <br />changed the format of the way we write our resolutions concerning, not so much laying <br />blame as being critical of the decision to.... job cuts and this weekend I don't know if <br />people saw the article about 1,000 defense jobs being taken away in the Pentagon's <br />restructuring so we had Joe add that to the NASA part of that. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked, any other comments? <br />There were no comments.
