Tlus operiportion is liiiiited to discussion perta.iriing to tlie items under <br />"New Business" only. <br />Couricil President NIarquardt asked 'if tliere were -any comments from the audience. <br />There were -no comments. <br />ANY OTHER 1VIATTER THAT MAY COlbE BEFOIBE-COIJNCH, <br />Council Pr-esident Marquardt asked if there were any-other matters befor-e Gouncil. We baue a <br />Caucus meeting next week: <br />CLOSIIoTG. COIVIMEN'I'S. <br />Mayor Ri.nker said we are sending a notice to our residents r.egarding the electricity aggregation <br />and a copy of the FAQ sheet that NOPEC published. NOPEC will be sending a packet itself to <br />residents with a form. Residents will be able to opt in or opt out as they choose. The actual <br />sign-out procedure will be handled directly with NOPEC and our residents and the <br />administration will be focused through NOPEC as much as possible. We are trying to keep <br />everyone in the loop. <br />Dr. Parker asked about the legislation for the gas. [It has one more reading.] <br />Mayor Rinker said there are over 100 communities involved in this. The service will be <br />delivered the same way; it is just a questian of negotiating who provides the juice. <br />Mayor Rinker welcomed Bill Riter, in the audience. Mayor Rinker said Mr. Riter served on <br />Council in Highland Heights and has moved into Tom Repicky's house. <br />Council President Marquardt asked if there v%fere any additional comments. <br />ADJOiTItNMENT <br />1VIrs.lVIills, seconded by 1VIr.
