Regulaz Council Meeting <br />3-19-01 <br />Page 5 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Council President Marquardt asked if there were any comments. <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Iiacqua, made a motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount of <br />$ 34,271 to Valley Ford for the purchase of a one-ton dump truck far the Service Department. <br />There were no comments. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Ail <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />¦ A motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount of $2;880 to Anthem for effiployee <br />life insurance <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mrs: Mills, made amotion to authorize an expenditure in the amount of <br />$2;880 to Anthem for employee life ;nsurance. <br />Council President Marquardt asked if there were any comments. <br />There were no comments. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 2001-06, entitled, "An ordinance appropriating funds for <br />current expenses & expenditures of Mayfield Village, Ohio for the period from January 1, 2001 <br />and ending December 31, 2001 and declaring an emergency." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and <br />Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an <br />ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Ro11 Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carrieci <br />RuIes Suspended <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mrs.lVfilis, made a mofion to enact Ordinance No. 200I-06. <br />Council President Marquardt asked if there were any comments. <br />Mr, itacqua thanked Mr. Brett anct the Depariment Heads for attending the Wortcshop tonight. T <br />think it was a very proactive discussion. We will continue to focus on costs moving forward as <br />we have in the past. Mr. Brett did a very good job of outlining same items for us and discussing <br />some issues and he looks forward to further discussion.
