MAYFIELD VILLAGE
..?. 71e?
.`
?.
BRUCE G. RINKER
Mayor
6621 Wilson Mills Road Mayfield Village, Ohio 44143
COMMISSION ON AGING
(216) 461-2210
ELJNICE KALINA
Director of Human Services
COUNCIL REPORT
November 19, 2001

The Flu/ Pneumonia Shot Program Friday was.a great success with 273 persons
receiving the flu vaccine and 17 persons receiving pneumonia shots. I
believe the most people receiving flu shots previously was about 200. This
was our first year to offer pneumonia shots. Thanks to many people.are in
order, namely all the ladies handling phone inquiries at the Village Hall
and Cheryl Garinger, Patsy Mills, Joanne Cinco, Chris Casey, and Jeanette
Locigno who helped immeasurably at the registrations and the day of the
program. There was also great cooperation from the Service Department in
setting up and the Police Department in helping with the traffic.
Now we can focus on the upcoming Holiday Party December 15 which already
has more than 40 people with reservations. The caterer and entertainment
are in place, and favors are being made.
The Card Group is going well. Through the generous hospitality of Governor's
Village we were able to meet at their facility last Thursday when we were
pre-empted at the Commuriity Room. -
Le-; , ? ?-?-?
Eunice G. Kalina;
Director of Human Services:-
