Regular Council Meeting <br />2-21-00 <br />Page 2 <br />DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS <br />Mr. Samac said the parking garage for Progressive has been before P&Z and was discussed at <br />Caucus. The revised drawings Council just received are the same as the previous drawings. He <br />has not received approval of the landscaping around the building itself and around the pond. <br />That will be forthcoming from the landscape engineer. We have Progressive's commitment to <br />continue to tweak any landscaping requirements until such time as everyone is happy. <br />Mrs. Mills asked about Governor's Village. <br />Mr. Sama.c said we will come back to Caucus to work out the exact location of the roadway. <br />Council President Marquardt said we will consider the Parking Garage for Progressive under <br />New Business. <br />Chief Mohr said he is requesting the Firemen's Dependents Fund Committee schedule a meeting <br />to comply with the regulations; they must meet once a year. <br />Dr. Parker asked if there is still a beneficiary. <br />Chief Mohr said yes. <br />Council President Marquardt said Mrs. Cinco and Dr. Parker are on that committee. <br />Chief Mohr said he will consult with them to see what is convenient. <br />Mr. Thomas said 30 students participated in the first annual table tennis hot shot contest. A <br />busload of skiers went to Holiday Valley. He is proud to announce that Mayfield Village won <br />the top award for Parks & Recreation facilities for Parkview Pool. We will accept the award <br />next weekend at the State conference. The Progressive Fitness Center will open March 6, <br />officially. The Spring/Sumnier Parks & Recreation Brochure will be out in the ma.il at the end of <br />this week or on Monday of next week. On March 16 from 7-11 p.m. there will be a teen Battle <br />of the Bands. We are looking for chaperones. <br />STANDING CONIlVIITTEE REPORTS <br />Activities Committee - N1rs. Roman said we met a couple of weeks ago. She reminded everyone <br />to attend the Appreciation Dinner this Saturday. The committee will meet the first Wednesday in <br />March. <br />Architectural Review Board - Mr. Sama.c said the Board met February 10. They discussed the <br />Assisted Living Complex and approved the final plan. <br /> <br /> <br />Ir ? <br />J
