T'his open portion is limited to discussion pertaining <br />to the items under "Old Business" only. <br />There were no comments. <br />NEW BiJSINESS <br />¦ A motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount of $3,100 to Lucent <br />Technologies for annual maintenance fee for the telephone/voice mail system <br />Dr. Parker, seconded by Mr. Busa, made a motion to authorize an expenditure in the <br />amount of $3,100 to Lucent Technologies. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />Council President Marquardt said the next three motions are tied together and suggested <br />discussion on all be held at one time. <br />¦ A motion to approve a Special Use Permit (subject to conditions to be specified) for <br />731 Beta Drive for Medical Office Use (Panzica Realty, Inc.) <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to approve a Special Use Perxnit <br />(subject to conditions to be specified) for 731 Beta Drive for Medical Office Use (Panzica <br />Realty, Inc.) Council President Marquardt asked if there was any discussion. <br /> <br />Mr. Busa said he is not opposed to special use permits per se if it pertains to doctors or <br />nurses, etc. but if they start adding others, it sort of neutralizes my thinking. I don't see <br />any value to warehouses; we have 13 of them. It pays very little taxes and floods our
