Special Meeting of Council <br />6/5/00 <br />Page 2 <br />Benefits and other terms and conditioxis of employxnent for employees of Mayfield <br />Village, for years 2000 to 2002, repealing all other ordinances inconsistent #o wit. <br />Council President Marquardt suggested a motion to place on the agenda for a special <br />meeting to be called for next Monday, June 12, 2000 at 7:30 PM to discuss the variances <br />granted by the Board of Zoning and Appeals and have a vote by council. Dr. Parker, <br />seconded by Mr. Ilacqua made the motion. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Council President Marquardt asked for a motion for Mr. Hanculak to create an <br />ordinance objecting to the Board of Zoning and Appeals granting of the variances and <br />have a vote by council at the special meeiing called for June 12, 2000. Dr. Parker, <br />seconded by Mr. Busa made the motion. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Mr. Busa, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Ilacqua, <br />Mr. Marquardt, Mrs. Mills and Dr. Parker <br />NAYS: Mr. Buckholtz <br />Mr. Buckholtz wanted the minutes reflected that he opposed the objection to the Board <br />of Zoning and Appeals granting of the variances and sided with the Board of Zoning <br />and Appeals and their decision. Mrs. Cinco advised that she wanted the minutes to <br />reflect that although she agreed to having the ordinance drafted, she would be out of <br />town for the June 12, 2000 meeting and she too, sided with Mr. Buckholtz and sided <br />with the Board of Zoning and Appeals' decision granting the variances and would <br />follow their recommendations. <br />Motion Carried <br />Adjournment <br />There being no further business, Dr. Parker made a motion to adjour-n the meeting, seconded by <br />Council President Marquardt and the special meeting adjourned at 8:47 p.m. and members will <br />immediately go into council caucus. <br /> <br /> <br />?
