MINUTES OF THE ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />Mayfield Village <br />January 7, 2002 <br />The Council of Mayfield Village met in special session for the annual Organizational Meeting of <br />Council on Monday, January 7, 2002, at 8:00 p.m. in the Mayfield Village Senior <br />Center/Community Room. Mayor Bruce G. Rinker called the meeting to order. <br />ROLL CALL: Present: Carmen Ilacqua, William Marquardt, and Dr. Stephan Parker <br />In the audience (until sworn in): William Buckholtz, Joanne Cinco, Lillian (Patsy) Mills, and <br />Thomas Marrie <br />Absent: None <br />Also Present: Mayor Bruce Rinker, Finance Director Philip Brett, Service <br />Director poug Metzung, Fire Chief David Mohr, Building <br />Commissioner Bernie Samac, Police Chief Donald Stevens, Parks <br />& Recreation Director William Thomas and Clerk of Council <br />Donna Roman <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. <br />¦ Administration of Oaths of Office (For those elected in November 2001 to 4-year terms) <br />Mayor Rinker administered the oath of office to the following Council members: <br />Lillian (Patsy) Mills Ward 2 <br />William Buckholtz Ward 4 <br />Joanne Cinco At Large <br />Thomas Marrie At Large <br />• Election of President of Council <br />Mayor Rinker said the next order of business is the election of the Council President. He opened <br />the floor for nominations. <br />Dr. Parker nominated William Buckholtz to serve as 2002 Council President. <br />Mrs. Mills seconded the nomination. <br />Mayor Rinker asked if there were any further nominations. <br />There were none. <br />
