MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />Mayfield Village <br />August 14, 2002 <br />The Council of Mayfield Village met in regular session on Monday, August 14, 2002, at 6:22 <br />p.m. in the Mayfield Village Senior Center/Community Room. Council President Bill Buckholtz <br />presided. <br />ROLL CALL: Present: Mr. Buckholtz, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Marquardt, Mr. Marrie, Mrs. Mills <br />and Dr. Parker <br />Absent: Mr.Ilacqua <br />Also Present: Mr. Cappello, Mr. Diemert, Mr. Samac, and Mrs. Roman <br />Council President Buckholtz said this special meeting was called to consider Ordinance 2002-30 <br />approving the Plan of Operation and Governance for the NOPEC Gas Aggregation Program. <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 2002-30, entitled, "An emergency ordinance approving the plan <br />of operation and governance for the NOPEC Gas Aggregation Program for the purpose of jointly <br />establishing and implementing a Gas Aggregation Program" Introduced by Mayor Rinker and <br />Council as a Whole. <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mr. Marrie, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an <br />ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br /> <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2002-30. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked if there were any comments. <br />Dr. Parker questioned if residents can opt out if they wish. <br />Mrs. Roinan said yes. <br />Mr. Marquardt said we can revisit this in 2 years. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted <br />There being no further business, Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to adjourn.
