Special Council Meeting <br />9-9-02 <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />Dr. Parker, seconded by Mr. Marrie, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an <br />ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Dr. Parker, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount of <br />$15,000 to Safety Net. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion. <br />There were no comments. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />• Authorization for Purchase of Polz Property <br />Council President Buckholtz said we will take no action on purchase of the Polz property until <br />the Regular meeting. <br />• ADA Legislation <br />Council President Buckholtz said we will take no action on the ADA legislation until the Regular <br />meeting. <br />• Consideration of Appeal from Jim Mills for Variance for Proposed Garage - 6689 <br />Glenview Road <br />Mrs. Mills asked Council President Buckholtz: may I please be excused? <br />Council President Buckholtz replied, yes you may. <br />Mrs. Mills left the room at this time (9:52 p.m.) <br />Council President Buckholtz said this is similar to the other BOA. This was denied by the Board <br />of Appeals so we are voting to either accept their decision, override their decision or modify <br />their decision. Is that correct? <br />Mrs. Cinco said override the Board of Appeals with the modification. <br />
