MINUTES OF A SPECIAL WORKSHOP MEETING OF COUNCIL (RE PRD)
Mayfield Village
November 25, 2002
The Council of Mayfield Village met in Special Session on Monday, November 25, 2002, at
8:05 p.m. in the Mayfield Village Community Room. Council President Buckholtz presided.
Council President Buckholtz said this is a Special Meeting of Council to discuss the Planned
Residential Zoning.
ROLL CALL: PRESENT: Council President Buckholtz, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Marquardt,
Mr. Marrie, Mrs. Mills, Dr. Parker, Mr. Riter
ABSENT: None
ALSO PRESENT: Mayor Rinker, Mr. Samac and Mrs. Roman
In audience: P&Z Chairman Jim Farmer; P&Z members:
Jerry Catalano and Wes Marrotte
Council President Buckholtz said the loosely knit plan here was to turn everything over to Bernie
right from the start and kind of give us a recap and maybe focus on some of the disputed points
or negotiable points and kind of recap because a lot of work has gone into Planning & Zoning;
we don't want to duplicate all of that. What the question I was going to ask though, Bernie,
before we start, this (I mean I can hold it up) but September 13-is this the copy-would
anybody know what we've had a couple of times of the intended ordinance....
Mr. Samac said yes, sir.
Council President Buckholtz said as passed. No, I mean, as recommended by the results of the
vote of Planning.
Mr. Samac said yes. There is a couple of items there that I will touch on. There's one little error
that is in there; you may or may [not] want to keep it and....
Council President Buckholtz said well, we'll get to that. My question, not a question but-if
people have these materials with them I was just going to suggest that we take that out and the
minutes from that last meeting-at least that's what I am going to do. And as you go through
this thing, I think it would expedite matters to kind of cross reference these things like where
they are, like so if we're looking at a slide of a picture of something that is relevant to a setback,
you might stop ~at that moment and say, well here's where the vote split and here's what it looks
like and here's where it is in the minutes. That just would be very cohesive to interject that
where it goes.
Mayor Rinker said what I'd recommend is to go through once, save the questions but note them
down, otherwise I think....
