.?,.,
1 ?
f
ggyAk.
??A*MW
Mayor

MAYFIELD VILLAGE
6621 Wilson Mills Road Mayfield Village, Ohio 44143
ADMINISTRATION
(216) 461-2210
EUNICE G. KALINA
Director of Human Services
Commission on Aging/ Human Services
January 27, 2003
The Commission on Aging hosts its annual "Thank You Luncheon" for
village employees Monday, February 10 in the Community Room. Lunch will
be served from 11:30 to 1:30. Invitations have gone out to all
departments, council personnel, and ancillary staff. Responses are
requested by Wednesday, February 5.
Plans have been finalized for a June 11 trip to Stan Hywet Hall in
Akron and the Kent State University Museum including the renowned
Fashion Museum. Lunch will be at Schwebel's Garden Room on the Kent State
campus. The cost is $45 per person.
We are also planning the anniversary party scheduled for Saturday, May 17.
The Card Group's attendance has been down somewhat due to the holidays
and the harsh weather; however, we have continued to meet. We will not
meet next week and Tuesday, February 4 due to the work in the Community
Room.
I have had a request from a resident to try for a discounted group rate
fcr those persons wishing emergency call buttons. Several inquiries
have been made regarding this matter. I have learned that some
cammunities help with the cost of this service. This might be something
we could think about.
Respectfully subm7 tted,
?4J
Eunice G. Kalina, -
Director of Human Services
-J
