Regular Council Meeting <br />3-17-03 <br />Page 17 <br />Mr. Riter said whatever is going to happen in Iraq happens as safely as possible for our troops and <br />that they are able to come home to their families as soon as possible. <br />Mayor Rinker said I agree with that and keep track of what's going on around here. <br />Mrs. Mills said someone asked today for a resolution for peace. <br />Mr. Brett said about one-third of the ones that were passed were repealed. <br />It was the consensus of Council it is above their control. <br />Mrs. Mills said she went to the Cuyahoga County Board of Health District Advisory meeting. <br />Tim Horgan reported the smallpox vaccination program has been activated. Phase one will be <br />the hospitals; Phase 3 will be the safety forces. They reported on the West Nile virus. A study is <br />due on Apri124. They cautioned residents to be aware of standing water in rain gutters, etc. and <br />also to start a protective maintenance of the sewers which Doug has already started. <br />Mrs. Mills said Dorothy Martin's mother passed away.
