Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council Monday, April 17, 2017 Page 16 Storage and Conditional Use Permit at 480 SOM Center Road for Luisa Fappiano, Trustee. (Building Departinent) Council President Saponaro asked, discussion? Mr. Jerome asked for a quick recap of what this entails. Mr. Marrelli stated, a conditional use perinit will allow them to continue their landscape operation in the coininercial zone behind the residential zone on SOM. In conjunction with that, we had made a deal, I guess if you will, for them to clean up the property with repairing the building and to get some kind of hard surface on their parking lot and whatnot because it is all mud back there. They were willing to do all that. Basically what you have in the site improvements is fencing, siding, roofing, painting of the buildings, gravel parking lot instead of mud in exchange for the way I see it a conditional use permit that they never had and they have been operating without it since 1980. Now everything is all cleaned up and everybody's happy as far as I can tell. Mr. Jerome stated, from what I saw, it's a little better already. Mr. Marrelli stated, there's a six month timeline to get, the fences and building sided so I think by late Fall you will see a big difference back there. Mr. Jerome stated, okay. Thank you.
