Chief Edelman made
some comments and informed us. Our Law Director also discussed the issues at hand. We
also looked into the financial aspects as well just to make sure. This is obviously, in some
respects, an emotional issue to many. Our understanding fr.om what was presented was
there is nothing really that the Village is missing out on from a financial aspect in terms of
this whole issue. It basically comes down to what we would like to see our Village do in
this issue in terms of safety. We did look at that to be thorough and give air to that aspect
as well. Council President Saponaro stated, very good. What other coinments or iiiscussion?
Mr. Diemert stated, Ordinance Review did recommend unanimously that it be adopted by
Gouncil.
