Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />Monday, July 24, 2017 : 'Page 8 <br />was it was hot and people had no place to hide in the shade. Everyone enjoyed it. I had <br />good feedback. $800 of the $1200 was covered tluough donations Donna received. A lot <br />of times they provided snacks and beverages for them. <br />Parks and Recreation - On a different note, we also give a special thanks to Garry <br />Regan. He applied to the Ohio Arts Council for a grant and received $2,367 towards our <br />Grove concert series. <br />Committee Reports: <br />Activities Committee - Mr. Jerome - Mrs. Mills stated, we discussed 50's Night and Fourth of <br />July and our up and coming programs which will be in December - Tree Lighting, Menorah <br />Lighting and Holiday music. <br />Finance Committee - Mr. Saponara - We inet this evening. We had 4 iteins on the agenda, all <br />of which were approved and recommended and moved to`Council. <br />Safety and Service - Mr. Marrie - We met two weeks ago. The two items discussed were the <br />police cars and the new asphalt truck and trailer. Both were passed on to Finance and are on <br />tonight's agenda for consideration. <br /> <br />• Second Reading of Ordinance No. 2017-29, entitled, "An Emergency Ordinance <br />amending Codified Ordinance Sections 1185.12 & 1185.14 relating to sign regulations." <br />Introduced by Mayor Bodnar and Council as a Whole. (First Reading - 6/19/17) (Law <br />Department) . <br />Ordinance No. 2017-29 moved to Third Read. <br />Motion to declare the following cars as surplus and to then list them on <br />Govdeals.com for sale, along with the K 9 car: <br />- 2013 Dodge Charger, VIN: 2C3CDXAGODH590910, mileage: 99, 875 <br />- 2013 Dodge Charger, VIN: 2C3CDXAGODH590909, mileage: 95,224 (Police I)epartment) <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Jerome, made a motion to declare the following cars as surplus and <br />to then list them on Govdeals.com for sale, along with the.K-9 car: <br />- 2013 Dodge Charger, VIN: 2C3CDXAGODH590910, mileage: 99,875 <br />- 2013 Dodge Charger, VIN: 2C3CDXA.G0DH590909, mileage: 95,224 , <br />Council President Saponaro asked, discussion?
