They were not rezoned aaid they <br />don't have a conditional approval. They have a court order. <br />Mr. Jones asked, the authorization to expand was a discretionary decision? <br />Mr. Marrelli replied, it was. <br />Conernents by Fire CMief Gino Carcioppolo <br />Mr. Diemert states, Chief you've been sworn in arid you read the minutes from June 200'. All <br />the things you said at that rneeting are you affirming those today as well? <br />Chief Carcioppolo replied, yes. <br />Nir. Diemert states, the letter you submitted to the BZA at that time dated 6/17/17 does that <br />afffim today as what you believe aze the facts relating to the impact that might occur on the Fire ? <br />Department? ! <br />Chief Carcioppolo replied, yes. <br />Mr. Diemert asked, how did you perfonn your investigation in coming to those facts? <br />Chief Carcioppolo replied, I reviewed our call logs for the past few yeaYS and specifically <br />honed in on Governor's expansion and how that impacted us. That was a pretty easy conelation <br />to make based on that size increase. <br />Mr. Diemert asked, what was your conclusion? <br />Chief Carcioppolo replied, that it equates to approximately 1- 1.25 calls per bed annually. <br />Mr. Diemert asked, since the last meeting on June 201 did you do any supplemental <br />investigation? <br />Chief Carcioppolo replied, I did. I talked to the Deputy Chief of Mason Fire Dept. <br />Mr. Diemert asked, why did you do that? <br />? <br />Chief Carcioppolo replied, T believe it was mentioned in the last meeting's information packet <br />and I was told to reach out to him. I did that, and based on their call log and I'm g lad that he ?--?
