.? <br />' ORDINANCE NO. 2018-17 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Bodnar and Council as a Whole <br />AN ORDINANCE ? -J?? b Iv <br />REVISING THE ZONE MAP OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE <br />SO AS TO AMEND THE USE CLASSIFICATION OF 6.93 ACRES OF LAND <br />LOCATED SOUTH OF HIGHLAND ROAD AND WEST OF SOM CENTER ROAD <br />AND KNOWN AS PERMANENT PARCEL NUMBERS 831-10-019, 831-10-007 AND 831- <br />10-006 FROM ITS CURRENT CLASSIFICATION OF <br />U-1 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT <br />TO PLANNED RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT <br />WHEREAS, the subject property is located South of Highland Road and West of SOM <br />Center Road and is known as Permanent Parcel Numbers 831-10-019, 831-10-007, and 831-10- <br />006 as more particularly described in the Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by <br />reference; and <br />WHEREAS, this Ordinance has been referred to the Planning and Zoning Commission <br />for report and recommendation per Article III, Sections 12 and 13, of the Mayfield Village <br />Charter; and <br />WHEREAS, said Ordinance has been read at two successive Council meetings, and <br />thereafter a public hearing was held thirty days after the second reading, and prior to the third <br />reading thereof, after having been advertised for thirty days in advance in a newspaper of general <br />circulation throughout the Village, per Article III, Section 13 of the Charter; and <br />WHEREAS, said Ordinance will be referred to the Mayfield Village electors on <br />November 6, 2018 for approval by the voters, per Article III, Section 13 of the Mayfield Village <br />Charter. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. The zone map of Mayfield Village, Ohio, established in Section 1153.01 of <br />the Codified Ordinances of Mayfield Village, Ohio, as amended from time to time, is hereby <br />amended by changed the zone classification of the property located and known as Permanent <br />Parcel Numbers 831-10-019, 831-10-007, and 831-10-006, and more particularly described in <br />Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference such that the property be and is <br />hereby rezoned from its current classification of U-1, Single Family Residential to Planned <br />Residential Development District. <br />SECTION 2. That the Clerk of Council is hereby and herein directed to certify a copy of <br />this Ordinance to the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections to be placed on the ballot for the <br />election to be held on November 6, 2018. The Clerk shall certify this Ordinance to the Board of <br />Elections no later than sixty days prior to the election date of November 6, 2018 per Mayfield <br />Village Charter Article III, Section 13. <br />?
