' ORDINANCE NO. 2018-17 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Bodnar and Council as a Whole AN ORDINANCE ? -J?? b Iv REVISING THE ZONE MAP OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE SO AS TO AMEND THE USE CLASSIFICATION OF 6.93 ACRES OF LAND LOCATED SOUTH OF HIGHLAND ROAD AND WEST OF SOM CENTER ROAD AND KNOWN AS PERMANENT PARCEL NUMBERS 831-10-019, 831-10-007 AND 831- 10-006 FROM ITS CURRENT CLASSIFICATION OF U-1 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT TO PLANNED RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT WHEREAS, the subject property is located South of Highland Road and West of SOM Center Road and is known as Permanent Parcel Numbers 831-10-019, 831-10-007, and 831-10- 006 as more particularly described in the Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference; and WHEREAS, this Ordinance has been referred to the Planning and Zoning Commission for report and recommendation per Article III, Sections 12 and 13, of the Mayfield Village Charter; and WHEREAS, said Ordinance has been read at two successive Council meetings, and thereafter a public hearing was held thirty days after the second reading, and prior to the third reading thereof, after having been advertised for thirty days in advance in a newspaper of general circulation throughout the Village, per Article III, Section 13 of the Charter; and WHEREAS, said Ordinance will be referred to the Mayfield Village electors on November 6, 2018 for approval by the voters, per Article III, Section 13 of the Mayfield Village Charter. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: SECTION 1. The zone map of Mayfield Village, Ohio, established in Section 1153.01 of the Codified Ordinances of Mayfield Village, Ohio, as amended from time to time, is hereby amended by changed the zone classification of the property located and known as Permanent Parcel Numbers 831-10-019, 831-10-007, and 831-10-006, and more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference such that the property be and is hereby rezoned from its current classification of U-1, Single Family Residential to Planned Residential Development District. SECTION 2. That the Clerk of Council is hereby and herein directed to certify a copy of this Ordinance to the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections to be placed on the ballot for the election to be held on November 6, 2018. The Clerk shall certify this Ordinance to the Board of Elections no later than sixty days prior to the election date of November 6, 2018 per Mayfield Village Charter Article III, Section 13. ?
