RESOLUTION 2018=26 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Bodnar <br />AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION <br />AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE OF MAYFIELD <br />TO ENTER INTO A COMMUNITY COST-SHARE AGREEMENT <br />WITH THE NORTHEAST OHIO REGIONAL SEWER DISTRICT <br />FOR THE BETA DRIVE STORM RELIEF SEWER <br />AND PALERMO DETENTION POND EXPANSION PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District, as a component of <br />implementing a regional stormwater management program, manages a financial account termed <br />the "Community Cost-Share Account" that is for the aggregation and dissemination of funds <br />derived from revenues collected from the Stormwater Fee; and . <br />WHEREAS, the purpose of the Community Cost-Share Account is to provide funding to <br />assist the Village with District - approved projects through the Community Cost-Share Program; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District supports the Beta Drive Storm <br />Relief Sewer and Palermo Detention Pond Expansion Project; and <br />WHEREAS, Council deems it necessary and in the best interest to the health, safety and <br />welfare of all Village residents to enter into the Community Cost Share-Share Agreement with <br />the Northeast Ohio Regiorial Sewer District in order to receive funding for the Beta Drive Storm <br />Relief Sewer and Palermo Detention Pond Expansion Project.. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT.RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of Mayfield, <br />County of Cuyahoga and State of Ohio: <br />SECTION 1. That Council of the Village of Mayfield finds that it is in the best interest <br />of the Village of Mayfield to enter into the Community Cost Share-Share Agreement with the <br />Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District for the Beta Drive Storm Relief Sewer and Palermo <br />Detention Pond Expansion. Project. <br />SECTION 2. That the Village Mayor, or her authorized representative, is hereby <br />authorized arid directed to enter into the Community Cost-Share Agreement with the Northeast <br />Ohio Regional Sewer District, attached hereto as Exhibit A, and to provide all information and <br />documentation required. <br />SECTION 3. That the Village of Mayfield does hereby agree to obligate the funds <br />required to satisfactorily complete the proposed project and become eligible for reimbursement <br />under the terms of the Community Cost Share-Share Agreement in compliance with the Regional <br />Stormwater Management Program.
