RESOLUTION NO. 2018-27 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Bodnar AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING MAYFIELD VILLAGE TO ACCEPT THE P120POSALS OF 1tECORDS IMAGING SERVICE FOR THE DIGITIZING OF PERMANENT RECORDS PROJECT WHEREAS, based upon recommendation, it has been deemed in the best interest of the health, safety and welfare of all Village residents and inhabitants to digitize the public records of the Village of Mayfield; and WHEREAS, the Village of Mayfield -received proposals from Records Imaging Service for the digitizing of the public records and the necessary software required for the project; and WHEREAS, Records Imaging Service provided proposals for the service of digitizing public records based on an estimate of the amount of records that will need to be digitized and the cost provided in the proposals are estimates and subject to change based on the actual amount of records digitized; and WHEREAS, the Records Commission of the Village of Mayfield has reviewed and approved of the proposals submitted by Records Imaging Service and recommends that such proposals be approved. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: SECTION 1. The Council of Mayfield Village hereby approves and authorizes an expenditure not to exceed $15,000.00 to.Records Imaging Service for digitizing of the public records and the necessary software required for the project. SECTION 2. The Council of Mayfield Village does hereby direct the Mayor, or her authorized representative, to accept the proposals of Record Imaging Service, attached hereto as Exhibit A and Exhibit S, for digitizing of the public records and the necessary software required for the project. SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at open meeting of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took
