? RESOLUTION NO. 2018-33 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Bodnar AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING MAYFIELD. VILLAGE TO EXPEND FUNDS IN THE AMOiINT OF $10,770.00 TO HICAP RENOVATIONS FOR POWER WASHING AND STAINING OF THE GAEENVVAY TRAIL BOARI)WALK WHEREAS, based upon recommendation, it has been deemed in the best interest of the health, safety and welfare of all Village residents and inhabitants to power wash and stain the Greenway Trail Boardwalk; and WHEREAS, the Village of Mayfield takes pride in properly maintaining the green space within the Village and the Mayfield Village Department of Public Service diligently maintains this green space; and WHEREAS, the Greenway Trial has approximately 22,500 square feet of boardwalks, bridges and handrails that are in need of maintenance; and WHEREAS, Doug Me.tzung, the Service Director of the Village of Mayfield has recommended that HICAP Renovations be hired to power wash and stain the Greenway Trial Boardwalk after reviewing several quotes from reputable suppliers; WHEREAS, the Village of Mayfield, upon the recommendation of the Service Director, wishes to hire HICAP Renovations to power wash and stain the Greenway Trail Boardwalk. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: SECTION 1: The Council of Mayfield Village hereby approves and authorizes an expenditure of $10,770.00 to HICAP Renovations to power wash and stain the Greenway Trail Boardwalk. SECTION 2. The Council of Mayfield Village does hereby direct the Mayor and President of Council to enter into contract with HICAP Renovations to power wash and stain the Greenway Trail Boardwalk. SECTION 3. The Council fiiids and detennines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at open meeting of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took
