RESOLUTION NO. 2018-36 INTRODiJCED BY: Mayor Bodnar AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING MAYFIELD VILLAGE TO ACCEPT THE BID OF DRS ENTE1tPRISES, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $117,020.00, FOR THE CONCRETE PAVEMENT AND CATCH BASIN REPAIR . IMPROVEMENT PROJECT WHEREAS, based upon recommendation, it has been deemed in the best interest of the health, safety and welfare of all Village residents and inhabitants to undertake the Concrete Pavement and Catch Basin Repair Improvement Project in the Village; and WHEREAS, the bids for the aforementioned project were received, opened and tabulated as per published. notice on July 13, 2018; and WHEREAS, the bid of DRS Enterprises, Inc. was the lowest and best bid received; and WHEREAS, said bid was in the amount of $117,020.00; and WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has hereto reviewed the bids and recommended that the City Council approve and accept the aforementioned bid for said project. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: SECTION 1. The Council of Mayfield Village hereby accepts and approves the bid of DRS Enterprises, Inc. in the amount of $117,020.00 and the construction contract is hereby awarded to DRS Enterprises, Inc. SECTION 2. The Counail of Mayfield Village does hereby direct the Mayor and President of Council to enter into contract with DRS Enterprises, Inc. for the Concrete Pavement and Catch Basin Repair Improvement Project. SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at open ineeting of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
