Friday, September 14'" from 11:00-2:00. = Aiinual Meeting of NOACA <br />. November 6, 2018 from 9:00-3:00 Ohio Community Wildlife Conference <br />. October 31St-November 2"a - Ohio Municipal League Annual Conference in Columbus If anyone is interested in attending any of the above events, please let me know. <br />. Records Commission - The Corrimission meets this Wednesday. Also, digitization of <br />permanent records has coinmenced. I will keep everyone posted. <br />Shane McAvinew (Parks and Recreation) <br />. Parks and Recreation Board - The Board meets on September 19t' at 7:00. The <br />Entertainment Committee meets at 6:00 to allow further discussion amongst other Board <br />members who want to discuss The Grove and other entertainment. The rest of the <br />Committees will meet at 6:30.. We will be reviewing summer 2019 activities. We have, a <br />few good weeks left of events with this Friday the Grove having its only country band for <br />the suininer, Post Road. Saturday is Family Fun Night and Food Trucks which will <br />consist of a variety of entertainment from the Chardon Polka Band to reptile shows for <br />kids, balloon twisting, jugglers, Michael. Maj will be there. The night will be finished <br />with First Offenders. Our own Micliael Cicero will be playing in that particulax band: It <br />should be a great event. Also; this is the last weekend of the pool. I also wanted to give <br />thanks to a handful of people for the grand success of the Community Cookout: Seari <br />Supler, who worked very hard in putting that together. He did a great job. Thanks also <br />to our Chefs, Councilman Schutt and Councilman Meyers who cooked probably 300-400 <br />hamburgers and hot dogs on that particular day. They inanned the grill for about 5 hours <br />straight. Thank you guys very much. <br />Commission on Aging = Met on July 12"'. The Conunission discussed the Leani and Go <br />program offered by the Community Partnership on Aging. They also discussed the <br />Holiday Party, Senior Picnic and the Wednesday concert series. This Wednesday is the <br />last Wednesday concert series at 12:00 at the Gazebo. The band is Malt Shop Memories. <br />The Commission also reviewed classes, activities and programs that took place in 20.18 <br />and reviewed upcoming programs for 2019. The next meeting is scheduled for <br />September 20"', - <br />. Senior Services - The next trip will be to Toledo. 50 seniors will be going. It is sold <br />out. We have our favorite Foot Clinic which will be lleld oii September 14"' and 18`h. . <br />CPA Lunch N Movie is on the 12"' and the Lunch N Movie at Governor's Village will be <br />`h <br />on the 26.
